The Pork Chops and the Glazed Carrots are from The New Best Recipe Cookbook from the editors of Cook’s Illustrated. It’s rare that I do two dishes out of the same cookbook at the same time. Usually I have a few books floating around that night.
The “Easy” Pork Chops with the Dijon and Sage were awesome. I gave it five stars and it was quite an easy recipe. The wife and kids loved it.
The glazed carrots were quite sweet, the sweetest I’ve ever done. They paired well with the pork and sauce. Good to know I have a “go-to” carrot recipe when you want to avoid any garlic infusion and after a sweet, almost candied carrot.
Being the cook I gave myself a bit more of the carrot sauce.
Definitely a Winter dish.
5 Stars, especially the sauce. Carrots get about a 3 1/2.
