Cupid, put an arrow in us, we’re done. Steak au Poivre.

Just after we start to recover from the Holiday’s, in comes Valentines Day.

Luckily we have Spring to look forward to and Summer on the horizon. 

Gym and Cardio time…and one last indulgence – Valentines Dinner.

The Steak au Poivre was Stellar. 5 stars. Perfect amount of depth and richness.

The garlic mashed potatoes were awesome but ohh mmmyyyy, they were a lot.  Potatoes boiled in milk and cream.  I think the Surgeon General has an A.P.B. on this style of cooking.  Only do once a year, and follow with red wine…or even wiser, only once in a lifetime. Still, very memorable and glad I tried them. 

The picture of the Steak did not come out, it looks so much better on the table. Valentines mood lighting sending out arrows. Served with frozen French style green beans with toasted almond slivers.
